Core texts are those books or manuscripts (not necessarily published by the SSG) which the Scaife genealogist will frequently find great help from. The Scaife Sentinel was our original journal, but was replaced by a new series of Occasional publications and Sundry articles a few years ago. These have recently (June 2009) been superceded with the Scaife Sentinel Series II.
The group publishes three times per year (January, May and September) and the electronic versions of new instalments will be placed here as soon as they are available.
